I couldn't be happier with this pitcher. It is light weight, finally a glass pitcher thandoesn't break your arm when filled with liquid. I wanted to get rid of the plastic andnow I can. Another plus is it's design, in that it is straight up and down and takesless space in the refrigerator. I bought four of them and so far so good, no breakage.UPDATE: March, 2020. I have been using four of these pitchers for almost five years.Finally one broke because it was caught in the dishwasher and I yanked it. I had toorder another one immediately.
