Do you need a way to get water from the faucet/ fridge/ Brita pitcher to your face-hole in style? Do you want to sip lemonade in the backyard after satisfyingly mowing a pattern into your grass? Do you want to pour a tumbler of cold milk in order to dunk warm chocolate chip cookies and brownies but deserve to do it with some class?!?! Then have I got the pitcher for YOU!Look at this guy. It's real crystal not some imitation glass wannabe. The lismore pattern is like little starships firing lasers to protect your drink from the evil doers who would bogart your beverage. Revel in your victory as your imbibe your libation while leering at your foes and their empty glasses, but again, do it with some class. This pitcher holds enough of your liquid of choice that you may dispense it to those whose thirst requires quenching, while still maintain your own tumbler full to the brim. Never worry about running out of milk before cookies again! Make aunt Carol seethe with jealousy at your choice of vessel for your gatherings with this flagon (dragon optional) Watch as the prisms shimmer in the sunlight mesmerizing your guests. In short, this crystal carafe should be your go to for all occasions requiring liquid storage. It works just as well dispensing orange juice as it does Bloody Marys. You know you and your beverage deserve the best so why not serve it in the best.Love this pitcher. It came in a very secure Waterford black box. The pitcher has Waterford stamp. I have other Waterford's Lismore crystal ware, I love this piece the best.Gave this as a Christmas gift. The lovely young lady whom I gifted it too loved it! It's finely handcrafted, heavy to the touch and when the light catches it just right it shimmers like nothing you have ever seen.Waterford Crystal is VERY expensive. It looks and feels expensive because it is expensive. You can buy similar pieces from Lenox or Mikasa that cost much less money. They are nice to look at but don't have the presence that the Waterford has especially when you handle it. Pick it up and feel the weight of a Waterford piece and you will know where that extra money went. Well spent money IMO.The best recommendation for the exquisite pitchers is found in the letters of thanks we received from the engaged couples to whom my wife an I sent them as gifts. Amazon handled the packaging and delivery with its usual grace and the delight of the recipients was obvious in their responses that turned out to be as cliche-free as these pitchers are unique and graceful. Nobody will send these back and one can seldom say that about wedding gifts of any kind.Eugene Cullen Kennedy, emeritus professor of psychology, Loyola University of Chicago. The product was fine, the delivery was four days late. I received the gift two days after the birthday date! The Waterford pitcher complemented glassware from Waterford in the same style I had previously given as a gift. The price was a great incentive to purchase and the details were handled exceptionally.Very attractive pitcher for water at the table. It is heavy and I feel inclined to hold the handle near the lower part of the curve. I do not know if that is necessary, but have heard of some cheaper pitchers breaking at the handle so just prefer to be cautious.Beautiful-- delivered promptly and in perfect condition! Gave as a gift, and the couple said that it was the best gift that they received!
