It can be used to put wine, juice just about anything in it and it will look good in your refrigerator or in the counter. I personally use it to keep water in my refrigerator later and it works very well for that purpose. It is quite tall so make sure you have enough height in your refrigerator if you want to use it in your refrigerator. It comes with a sponge brush to be able to clean the pitcher as well. The neck is so long that most people can't fit their hands in there and the brush does come in handy.I was in need of a more minimalist and formal water pitcher for when I have guests at home or when I make water with pieces of fruit. This water pitcher is very nice and elegant, exactly how I wanted it.
